It’s Wednesday already.
But in all honesty, I’m losing track of time out here on the road.
One day blurs into the next - which, for me, is a good sign that I’m finally slowing the fuck down.
If you’re on my mailing list, you may have seen a version of this land in your inbox on Sunday (hi again, and thank you for reading twice ❤️). But I wanted to share it here too - with a few little additions - because it feels too real, too alive, not to share here, too.
I also want to acknowledge I’ve been a little quiet here… and for good reason.
Mothering, tending to my heart, holding my 1:1 private clients, and working on some beautiful new creations have taken priority lately.
So here’s a little window into where I’m at, what I’m loving, and how this winter season is shaping me.
As many of you know, we’re now living full-time on the road - traveling around Australia in our caravan, working, parenting, and slowly finding a new rhythm in a life that looks completely different. It’s been a big, bold shift. Beautiful, yes - but also deeply humbling.
Letting go of everything we knew - our home, my car, my office, and even living apart from my eldest daughter (she’s now 19) - has stirred something unexpected in me. I’ve been grieving a version of myself that felt so established, so certain. It’s like I’ve stripped it all back to bare earth… and now I’m sitting in the stillness, listening to what wants to grow from here.
That’s not my usual tempo. I thrive on momentum, creativity, and forward motion.
But right now, life is asking for something else: a pause. A softening. A deeper listening.
Anyone else relate??
My body has been crying out for this shift - and I’m finally listening. I’ve started working with a beautiful kinesiologist, and I’m using some naturopathic herbs to support my hormones through this transition. These practitioners and mentors feel like anchors for me - especially in times like this.
And honestly, it all feels aligned - because it’s winter here in Australia.
A season of stillness. Of turning inward. Of letting the old fall away so something new can take root.
Wherever you are in the world, I invite you to tune in to the season you’re in - both outside and within.
Just like our bodies shift throughout the menstrual cycle, we also move through energetic seasons.
What does your body need right now?
What are you being invited to feel, to release, to tend to more gently?
In the spirit of winter nourishment and slow beauty, here are a few things I’ve been loving lately:
PODCAST
Chris Bale has been in my ears lately. His words cut through noise and fluff - straight into something raw and real. me.
MUSIC
I made a playlist called Winter Wellspring - soft, soulful, and a little moody. Perfect for slow mornings, journaling, and long drives. You can listen here - and I’ll be adding to it in the coming days.
BOOK
I’m just about to start Existential Kink by Carolyn Elliott. Nick read it and loved it, and I’m curious to see what it stirs in me. I’ll report back once I’m in it.
Thank you for being here - whether you’ve been reading my words for years, or you’ve just found me. I’m grateful you’re in my orbit.
With love from the road,
Juliet x
